She kissed the former "Gossip Girl" actor so hard that it was very clear the two have onscreen chemistry. More importantly, the intense lip lock showed exactly why Johnson was cast in "Fifty Shades."

It looks as if the young actress is preparing for her highly anticipated role by kissing Badgley, Hilton reported.

Johnson is rocking a dramatic look in the film. She donned a cropped brunette wig and scruffy clothing including an oversized khaki jacket and blood-splattered shirt for her role as Imogen.

The co-stars model-day spin and film adaptation on Shakespeare's famous play arrives in theaters next year. But in the meantime, Johnson can enjoy her newfound stardom after landing the coveted Anastasia Steele role.

The "Fifty Shades" casting news of Johnson hit the viral waves on last week when author E.L. James announced it on Twitter.

The decision had drawn a number of mixed reactions from fans, but Johnson's mom, Melanie Griffith was very supportive of her daughter despite critics and backlash.

"My beautiful child Dakota has been chosen to play Anna Steels in 50 shades!!!," Griffith tweeted. "Look out world! Here she comes!!! #proudmama."
