Emma Watson was recently named GQ's Women of the Year but "The Bling Ring" star has other things on her mind, and we don't mean her steady boyfriend of 2 years Will Adamowicz.

The actress has been doing her best to shed her "Harry Potter" persona of Hermoine Granger and slowly but surely she is breaking away from being Hogwarts' favorite witch.

According to the Daily Mail, she told the GQ Men of the Year issue that she will do whatever it takes to shake her "Harry Potter girl" reputation.

She said, "I'm prepared to wait it out. If it takes five years, it takes five years. If it takes more time . . . I'm here for the long haul."

For the GQ shoot the actress posed in a navy cut out dress that featured a high split exposing Watson's slim thighs and the sides of her flat stomach.

The actress wears her brunette hair curled into a sophisticated bouffant as she stares down the lens of the camera.

Watson has been busy. Not only has she been filming movies but she has also been attending college at Brown University.

During her down time the actress revealed her hobby of meditating to the magazine. She said, "I'd be jet-lagged, and I'd have a lot of different things to think about . . . I just needed something to stop the noise. I'm a very heady person; I'm in my head a lot.

"So I just needed something to slow down my thought process and so everything gets a lot quieter. It's really helped me."

Considering that she cannot get out of her head there is no wonder why she can't get out of her parents' house. The 23-year-old actress admitted that she does not own her own place.

She said, "It's madness, I know. It's really silly. I know, I really should do something about it."

"But it's like my choices with everything. I just always have to be sure it's really something I want! Yeah, you can see, there's a big thought process that goes behind everything... I guess it just seems really grown up."

Maybe she is waiting for boyfriend Will Adamowicz to grow up and ask her to marry him already?
