Vanessa Hudgens has come a long way since "High School Musical" and now Austin Butler's girlfriend has decided to open up a bit about her personal life in the latest issue of Marie Claire.

Featured on the cover, the 24-year-old can be seen rocking a low cut black top, this is only the start of the minimal material featured in her other outfits on the pages of the magazine, according to the Daily Mail.

In one of the shots, the "Spring Breakers" star can be seen wearing an all-white ensemble that features a crop top with a plunging neckline, short shorts and a satin blazer.

"I'm so comfortable with myself - honing in on what I love and what makes me powerful," she told the magazine.

"Things I've been doing lately, I'm super-proud of. So I don't really care if someone doesn't like it, because I love it."

She added, "You have a choice whether you want to be happy or not. I choose to be happy. And it's been working out pretty well."

In the past the actress has faced a lot of public scrutiny including a nude photo scandal while dating Zac Efron and the alleged cocaine incident at Coachella in April 2011.

When reflecting on the situation in which Hudgens was seen digging into small bag and licking a white substance off her fingers the actress insisted it was white chocolate. When she heard the cocaine rumor "The Frozen Ground" star said, "I couldn't do anything but laugh."

She continued, "It's amazing how people like to create something out of absolutely nothing. I am human like everyone else. I am aware that there are people who look up to me. When mistakes are made, they aren't intentional, and I constantly push myself to be a better person."

During the interview the actress joined her "The Carrie Diaries" boyfriend Austin Butler and admitted that she took a test that revealed she is both an introvert and an extrovert. She said, "I can be in a big crowd and get along, but I'm totally fine being by myself as well,"

Butler confirmed and said, "Yeah, she's in the middle, for sure. I'm more of an introvert."

Although she may be "in the middle" Vanessa Hudgens is sure about her future as far as priorities go.

She told Marie Claire that she wants, "A vintage mustang, kids, and an Oscar."
