A new "RoboCop" trailer debuted on Friday. The 2014 reboot movie is exciting fans, who got a first look at the Sony PG-13 remake about the Police Machine hitting theaters in February.

According to the Huffington Post, the film stars a bunch of Hollywood A-list actors and actresses including Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman and Abbie Cornish.

Directed by Jose Padilha, the flick follows the honest cop-turned-bad RoboCop, played by up-and-coming actor, Joel Kinnaman. The film lacks the gore of the Paul Verhoeven 1987 original, but makes up for it with such big names in the cast, reported HL.

The watered-down cyborg revival even has a couple of twists, and differs from the original in some striking ways.

According to E! Online, the upcoming revamp sees Detroit police officer Alex Murphy becoming RoboCop after surviving a car bombing. Of course, Murphy's road to becoming the half-man, half-machine crusader is much easier and relatable in the upcoming film than the character's story in the original.

The first film saw Murphy being brutally attacked by crime bosses and dying, but being resurrected as RoboCop some time later.

Fans will also see this new version of RoboCop minus the crime fighter's female partner. Nancy Allen played Officer Anne Lewis in the original, but this time around, Michael K. Williams is RoboCop's partner, reported E!

The film arrives on the big screen on Feb. 7, 2014.
