"Downton Abbey" star Michelle Dockery is dating someone new. Lady Mary and her Irish boyfriend attended the 2013 Venice Film Festival before the PBS show's season 4 premiere.

According to JustJared, Dockery, 31, and her unidentified beau held hands while boarding a water taxi and heading to Marco Polo Airport to depart Venice on Sunday.

The brunette starlet attended events for the Miu Miu Women's Tales at the festival. She and her new guy hit the town to do some sightseeing with Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade on Saturday.

According to the UK's Express, Dockery may have finally found love unlike her onscreen chracter.

"Michelle Dockery finally seems to have found happiness as she strolls in the sunshine with the arm of a tall, dark stranger draped around her shoulder in the romantic city of Venice," wrote the Express' Jon Coates.

A source told the Express that the actress and her new man were very lovey dovey.

"They looked happy and very much in love," the source said.

Witnesses said the couple stopped near a cafe and kissed. People watching Dockery also said her new man was carrying shopping bags from Italian lingerie store, Intimissimi.

Dockery was previously heartbroken by the end of her three-year-relationship with Trent Davies early last year. She also had a brief relationship with Joseph Millson, an actor on the British medical drama, "Holby City."
