Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and boyfriend Jason Statham are currently "on a break." The 26-year-old model and the 45-year-old "Expendables" star have been having constant arguments and apparently their age difference is causing strife in the relationship.

The Victoria's Secret Angel is currently on vacation in Ibiza with sources close to her claiming that the getaway is also a chance at getting space from her long-term beau.

According to the Daily Mail, after a three-year romance, Huntington-Whiteley and Statham are having trouble with some saying that the model is upset that the actor has yet to propose. The news comes after the British star was photographed wining and dining a group of girls in a Manhattan bar in June.

Statham partied until the early hours of the morning at Dorrian's Red Hand Bar before being escorted home drunk around 4 a.m.

It was reported that the actor "flirted" with a few girls in the pub and denied rumors that he was going to propose to his girlfriend.

Following their "break," a source close to the pair said, "There is no other person involved. They love each other very much and are not making an announcement because they're still hoping to working things out.

"But things have not been good, there have been lots of arguments and they both need some space. They are taking some time out from each other. Bear in mind there's an almost 20 year age gap between them - they are going to run into some issues."

Prior to the "time out," the model told ELLE magazine in an issue set for an October release date that her relationship keeps her grounded.

She said, "Many models are in long term relationships for stability. Admittedly, not always with great men, but it gives them something to come home to, something grounding. That's how I see my relationship.

"Well, I see it in many ways but of the most beautiful things is that I feel at home wherever I am in the world because of him. You've got someone special to go back to when the sh** hits the fan."
