The latest 2013 news on Justin Bieber, an Instagram lover, is quite shocking. Jacque Pyles ex-boyfriend was hit at a Canadian nightclub, but the naked skin-baring selfie lover defended himself in the fight.

According to TMZ, Bieber was attacked by an "over eager" clubgoer, who tried to tackle the 19-year-old crooner at the Toronto venue on Saturday.

At about 3 a.m., Biebs left his VIP area to hang out with several clubgoers. While on the dance floor, a male visitor charged at him and grabbed his shirt, reported the celebrity news site.

But the male clubgoer's attempt to take Bieber down to the ground failed.

The club's security pulled the man off of the singer, and tackled him to the floor. Bieber was not hurt in the incident.

In fact, the baby-faced crooner and Selena Gomez' ex-boyfriend reportedly defended himself. TMZ reported that Biebs unleashed a series of kicks on the guy.

After the guy was pinned down, security escorted him out of the club. Bieber and his entourage also left quickly. And according to TMZ, no one called the police.
