It seems like following his split with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson is having even more trouble dealing with the "Twilight" craze, recently dissing fans who worship the franchise.
In the past, the British actor has been clear that he was not a fan of the attention he was getting from the "Twilight Saga" but now with the films behind him, Pattinson still doesn't understand the obsession fans have with the vampire flick.
According to the Daily Mail, Pattinson, 27, told the German issue of Interview Magazine, "The real odd thing about this Twilight target group is that they aren't really teenagers. Most of them are older.
"Twilight has its own parallel world, its own fan culture that has been forming on the net since day one."
He continued, "And in an intense way that has never existed before. Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day.
"They sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with Twilight."
Ssome may recall that Pattinson referred to "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer's work as "a book that wasn't supposed to be published."
The actor also expressed his anger towards the reporter that came up with the nickname R-Patz. He said, "I'd like to strangle the guy who came up with it!"
Last year he told "TODAY" show host Savannah Guthrie, "I don't understand what the nickname culture is... If I could figure out a way to get rid of that, it'd be amazing. It does sound like an antacid tablet."
