North West had her first trip with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently. Following several wedding rumors and paparazzi run-ins, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star and "Black Skinhead" rapper took their baby girl to an Oklahoma funeral on Saturday, according to People.
Under sad circumstances, the new parents had to leave home with their 2-month-old daughter for the service of the rapper's grandfather, Portwood Williams Sr., who passed away on Aug. 10 at 98 years old.
The family had to miss Kylie Jenner's star-studded sweet 16 birthday party, a source confirmed to People.
"That's why they weren't at [sister] Kylie's birthday," the source said to the magazine. "They brought North, too. Her first trip."
It seems that Kardashian had a fan in her beau's grandfather. Back in February, Williams voiced his approval of his grandson, West dating the reality TV star, referring to Kardashian as "beautiful."
"And she's just as sweet as she is beautiful," Williams said to New York Daily News. "That's what I liked about her!"
The high-profile couple had visited a then-97-years-old Williams at his Oklahoma City home earlier this year.
West had "secretly escorted" Kardashian down to see Williams, who "was bowed over by the curvaceous beauty," the Daily News' Hugo Daniel and Douglas Feiden reported.
Reportedly, the couple reportedly did not get a chance to introduce Williams to their baby girl before he passed away. West was reportedly very close to his grandfather.
