Back in 2010, Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard came out as bisexual and now "The Rum Diary" star insists that she is sticking by her decision to make her sexuality public.
In the latest issue of ELLE magazine, Heard revealed that she doesn't regret revealing her sexual preferences. She said, "I didn't want to look like I was hiding anything."
Back in 2008, the actress was romantically linked to photographer Tasya van Ree and even brought her to the 2010 GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) 25th anniversary celebrations, where she officially came out as a bisexual.
The actress split from the photographer in 2012 shortly after Depp ended his 14-year long relationship with Vanessa Paradis.
The 27-year old actress added, "I'm not, and wasn't ever, ashamed."
The "Paranoia" actress admitted she isn't in search for the typical way of life. She said, "I don't imagine myself, my work, or my life, fitting into any kind of standardized path."
She went on to say, "In fact, the idea of there even being a standard freaks me out a lot."
She definitely defies the standard, considering she is dating 50-year old Johnny Depp, who is 23 years her senior.
The actress, who refuses to address her personal life, did reveal that she goes for roles that are "somehow empowered or strong."
However, she feels as if "People want to put me in a wedding dress and make me the object of affection, but I'd much rather shoot the gun and save the world. I've always fought against what was expected of me as much as I could."
In her photo shoot on a New York City, rooftop the actress flaunts her toned leg in a revealing Hermès skirt as she poses in white high-heeled Versace cowboy boots paired with a black cape and white blouse from Chloé.

In another photo she can be seen wearing a coat by Tommy Hilfiger, a necklace by Giuseppe Zanotti Design, and nothing else!
In her upcoming film "Paranoia," Heard stars alongside Liam Hemsworth. The film follows an entry-level employee who must spy on his boss's old mentor with dangerous consequences, according to the Daily Mail.
The actress gushed about the film, saying, "I loved how you're dealing with a lot of old themes like greed and power, but it's such a modern story.
"My character basically had to be smart enough to manipulate Liam Hemsworth's character. Yes, there are sex scenes, but it wasn't like she was falling at his feet."
