Yesterday it was announced that "Before He Cheats" singer Carrie Underwood, will be hosting this year's 47th Annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards with "Beat This Summer" performer Brad Paisley.  Underwood shared the news on Twitter.

It may come as no surprise that the pair are hosting as this is their sixth consecutive time co-hosting the event known as "Country Music's Biggest Night," according to People.

The announcement was made by fellow country stars Little Big Town during last night's "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock."  See a clip of the announcement below.

"Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts," Ed Hardy, president of the CMA board of directors, said in a press release. "They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year."

In previous years as hosts, the two sing together, and make jokes about fellow country stars.

Underwood retweeted an announcement from the Country Music Association:

Underwood, 30, has recieved five CMA awards in her career, and Paisley, 40, has recieved 14.
