Following his death Cory Monteith's girlfriend Lea Michele is helping "Glee" season 5 writers address her boyfriend's tragic passing.
The 26-year old actress offered her opinion to "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy who is writing episode 3 of season 5 which is set to air October 10th.
The episode will deal with the drug-related death of Monteith's character Finn Hudson, a source told Us Weekly that, "Lea wants it to reflect the truth, to warn people what can happen."
Cory Monteith's body was found in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13th after a fatal mix of heroin and alcohol, the actor was 31-years old.
Since his death Michele has been reportedly hiding out at the $5.3 million Los Angeles home of "Glee" guest star Kate Hudson who was away filming in London.
According to Hollywood Life, the actress is having a hard time moving on from her ex-boyfriend during this "extremely dark time."
A source close to Michele said, "Lea is moving forward. It's still an extremely dark time for her but she's incredibly strong and is clinging to the light. Her faith in God is helping her immensely. She has been dreaming of Cory a lot, and she says she feels him with her all the time.
"Lea has been praying for guidance and help to get through this, and she's making major progress but it's still a struggle - especially the nights. "
However, the source added that the days are much easier for the actress to bare, "The daytime is much easier for her because she can keep busy and not focus on her pain, but when night comes and things are quiet that's the hardest time.
"That's when she really counts on her prayers and her faith in God to help her. And her friends and family have been there a 110 percent for her. Lea hasn't spent a night alone yet; she's still not ready for that and who knows when she will be."
"Glee" season 5 is set to premieres on FOX September 26th.
FOX Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly explained that "the third episode will deal with the Finn Hudson character being written out of the show . . . that episode will deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory's passing and with the drug abuse in particular."
