Following their break up Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have keep their distance from one another but have recently reunited.

Although previous reports stated that the "On the Road" actress wasn't home when her ex-boyfriend stopped by her Los Feliz home Hollywood Life is claiming that the "Twilight" star was home and the two spent some time together.

Since their split Pattinson has been linked to two of Stewart's friend's, "Firework" singer Katy Perry and "The Runaways" actress Riley Keough.

Both alleged romantic flings had Stewart feeling betrayed by both the "Cosmopolis" star and her two friends.

However, over the weekend the two reunited and a source close to the former couple revealed that Pattinson isn't interested in hurting his ex-girlfriend, "Rob's schedule is very busy and he is in no mood to start another relationship, especially with someone so close to Kristen."

The insider also said, "He doesn't want to be 'that guy.' He doesn't want people to think he is stealing a friend in the wake of the relationship with Kristen. He loved Kristen and always will look at her fondly, but he doesn't want to be defined by her, and by dating Riley it would only continue the link to Kristen."

During their talk over the weekend Robert Pattinson also made a promise to Kristen Stewart, a source revealed, "Rob did tell people that he reassured her that he wasn't going to date her friends and make things more awkward between them, because the breakup is and has been awkward enough."

The get together of the exes was actually Pattinson's idea, "Rob initially reached out to Kristen because he wanted to stop by and pick up the rest of his stuff, but apparently he also wanted to see her," a friend of Stewart's told the celebrity gossip site.

"He stopped by on the weekend and they both spent some time together, catching up. Kristen was really happy to see him, but I think in the end they were both sad because they still have feelings for each other."

The source went on to say, "It's not as simple as just getting back together. Seeing each other brought up a lot stuff for both of them. For now, work - not rebuilding a relationship - comes first. It's sad."

Clearly Pattinson still cares for Stewart, according to an insider, "He's told his friends that during a different time and different circumstances, they could make it work."
