With the latest installment of "The Hunger Games" franchise set to be released fans can see Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in a new still from "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."

In the new photo released from the film Lawrence's character who is known as the "Girl on Fire" can be seen sitting in a silver chair waiting to enter the ring.

The photo which was debuted by Entertainment Weekly, shows the actress wearing her character's signature braid looking anxious as she awaits the moment where she will be forced to fight for her life.

In the sequel Katniss will be competing against past victors from The Hunger Games in the Quarter Quell, which is the name of the all-star game that takes place every 25 years, according to Daily Mail.

That means Katniss will be returning to the ring along with her co-champion Peeta Mellark (played by Josh Hutcherson), Johanna (played by Jenna Malone) from District Seven, and Finnick (played by Sam Claflin) from District Four, just to name a few.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will be the second film adaptation from Suzanne Collins' bestselling trilogy that tells the story of tributes from the twelve districts of the post-apocalyptic Panem who are forced to compete in a televised battle to the death for the capitol each year.

In the latest installment Liam Hemsworth's character Gale Hawthorne and Peeta Mellark will continue to compete for Katniss' affection.

Woody Harrelson will be returning to the franchise as Katniss' mentor Haymitch, along with Lenny Kravitz as Cinna, and Stanley Tucci as Hunger Games host Caesar Flickerman.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is set for a November 22nd release. Check out the latest trailer below.
