Rihanna said that she doesn't need saving from her entourage and would never call on Katy Perry if she did.

Hollywood Life reported that the "Stay" singer, 25,  is very unhappy with 28-year-old Perry's comments about her personal circle of friends bringing her down.

"Rihanna doesn't need to be saved by anyone," said a source close to the Diamonds World Tour performer to HL. "The man upstairs is to whom she owes everything. That's who brought her here and that's who she's leaving with!"

Despite such strong emotion, the Bajan beauty holds no resentment or ill will toward the "Fireworks" singer. In fact, friends told HL that she "adores" Perry.

"Everyone had an opinion about something," the source added. "Ri's grown and will walk through fire by herself if it means it will make her stronger. Rihanna knows how to cut ties and cut them so sharp that your teeth bleed! She knows how to get rid of toxic people in her life. She's not a baby and has everything she could want or need in her life. She's happy and thankful!"

In a new interview with Elle UK for their September issue, Perry blamed Rihanna's circle of friends as the reason that the once-best friends are no longer close.

"I love her [Rihanna] and every time I see her," Perry told Elle, "I'm reminded of the light that she has. There's a lot of darkness in this business. I know a lot of people out there with the most detrimental entourages - they are the root of their demise. It's really unfortunate that you can't save these people. My days of celebrity saving are over."

Reportedly, the "Fireworks" singer had walked away from the friendship due to Chris Brown's return to Rihanna's life.
