Simon Cowell's name appeared in Andrew and Lauren Silverman's divorce papers after news broke of the "X-Factor" judge expecting a baby with Silverman, according to The New York Post.

Cowell's close friend, Andrew said he is a "man scorned." The wealthy real-estate developer went as far as citing the British TV star, 53, as a co-respondent in divorce papers filed two weeks ago.

The former "American Idol" judge could have to tell sordid details of his affair in court, the Post reported.

Silverman cited adultery in the fault divorce. And noted divorce attorney Martha Cohen Stine hinted that their separation could get nasty.

"It's really a signal to the spouse who cheated that the wronged spouse is very angry," Cohen said. "And that it's going to be a very nasty, scorched-earth, high profile litigation."

The notoriously sharp-tongued "X Factor" judge, 53, will parent a baby with Silverman, 36, according to US Weekly.

A source revealed that Silverman is around 10 weeks along, and planned to be with Cowell after her loveless marriage, US said.

"Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time," the source said.
