Following Cory Monteith's death his girlfriend Lea Michele has finally been spotted in public since the "Glee" star's passing.

The actress has remained out of sight since her boyfriend's death on July 13th but was seen out on Sunday. According to the Daily Mail, "a sombre Lea Michele was photographed for the first time as she travelled in a friend's car in Los Angeles."

The 26-year-old star wore dark sunglasses with her dark hair tied up into a bun as she arrived at a Bel Air address.

The DM reported that the two seemed to be having an intense conversation before Michele emerged from the passenger's side of the car. The actress wore a black long sleeved shirt paired with grey pants and ballet flats.

On Monday the "Glee" star returned to Twitter and posted a picture of herself with her late boyfriend Monteith, thanking fans for their support. The actress wrote, "Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart."

The picture shows the two hugging each other tightly on the beach while smiling for the camera.

Since Monteith's death the actress has turned to friends as well "Glee" co-stars during her time of grief. Michele even joined the cast and crew of the FOX hit show for a memorial service for the actor, the group was there "to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory."

The 31-year old actor was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room after he missed his check out time. The autopsy report revealed that the star died from a heroin and alcohol overdose.

Monteith was dating Michele for over a year and had plans to move in with the actress when he returned from Canada.
