On Thursday the cast of "Glee" held a private memorial for co-star Cory Monteith who was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room at 31-years old after a fatal mix of alcohol and heroin.
The cast and crew gathered at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, where the show is filmed, to share stories as they remembered their late friend and colleague, who died on July 13th, according to the Daily Mail.
A producer for 20th Century Fox Television said in a statement, "Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith."

The statement went on to say, "We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time."
After the memorial, Monteith's co-star Chris Colfer tweeted "I'll never forget all the laughs we shared or the faces we made after awkward interview questions. Love and miss you, buddy."
"Glee" stars Dianna Agron, Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Harry Shum Jr. were spotted heading to lunch together at A.O.C. restaurant following the service.
Outside of the show's studio a small shrine has been created with fans leaving flowers, candles, messages, and even Slurpee cups in tribute to Monteith.
Jane Lynch told TMZ that she attended the memorial and described it by saying, "'It was beautiful. And still really sad, but it was beautiful."

The actress, who is known for playing eccentric cheerios coach Sue Sylvester on the show added that it was "nice to all be together again."
The show's co-creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed that the show plans to air a tribute episode honoring Monteith that will address the death of his character, Finn Hudson.
"Glee" season 5 is set to air on September 26th, a week after show was scheduled to return back to FOX.
