Since their break up Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have both been romantically linked to other people but reports are surfacing that are questioning whether the former couple is planting these stories themselves.

When Stewart attend Paris Fashion week not too long ago rumors began to fly that she was getting cozy with "Boardwalk Empire" actor Michael Pitt. It was alleged that the "On the Road" star was flirting with the actor who she sat next to during the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris.

It was reported by Ok! Magazine that after Riley Keough's rep denied that the actress was dating Robert Pattinson, Stewart "schemed" with Jamie Bochert (girlfriend and rumored fiancé of Pitt) to get close and caught flirting with the actor to make her ex-boyfriend jealous.

Soon after the story made headline Pitt's rep denied the romance saying that "that there was no romantic link to Kristen who was merely sitting next to him during the show," according to Entertainment Wise.

Tabloids are now claiming that it was all just a conspired plan to get the "Twilight" hunk back for the Riley Keough rumors.

An insider reportedly revealed the childish plan, "Kristen shared her feelings about Riley with Jamie."

"It was Jamie who said, 'Well, why don't you do what Rob is doing to you? Use Michael for a while. Sit next to him at the fashion show. It will send the whole world buzzing.'"

"There was no harm done. Michael and Jamie have been steadies for years. They wanted to support Kristen, even if the plan was a little bit high-schoolish," the source added.

As the rumors were deemed false a friend of the actress is claiming there was "no scheme," to spark romance rumors

Pattinson dumped Stewart, ending their more than four year relationship back in May, many reports blamed the split on her affair with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

However, now it is being alleged that Pattinson cheated on Stewart before the world was even aware of her scandalous affair. It is rumored that the star got close with his "Cosmopolis" director's daughter, Caitlin Cronenberg back in 2011.
