The internet's favorite new meme is In the Way Guy, who is ruining photos all over world, according to E! Online.
The viral sensation is interrupting people making happy memories starting with Nick Landis, a 24-year-old Plymouth, Minn. resident who proposed to his girlfriend Erika Boone, 21, at Walt Disney World earlier this month. When a Disney staffer tried to snap a photo of the life-changing moment, In the Way Guy appeared.
Landis was apparently not that upset and uploaded the funny photo to Reddit under the caption, "Tried to get a photo of our proposal...nailed it!"
The photo was so popular that his post got 32,700 upvotes and 1,500 comments in 16 hours, reported Know Your Meme.
Funny enough, Landis told Today that he was unaware of the photobomb while proposing, "Neither of us [My fiancee or I] realized that it happened at the time because we were focused on one thing."
"[In the Way Guy] saw what was happening," Landis continued, "and made [a] split-second decision to jump in front rather than run around the camera person. We thought it was hilarious having a moment like that."
With the instant snap, the photobomber became an instant star. Dubbed In the Way Guy, he has been photoshopped into several other big viral photos including Kate Middleton and Prince William's debut of royal baby George Alexander Louis.
In the Way Guy even has been apart of history, smack dab in the middle of raising the flag on lwo Jima during World War II in 1945.
And he even popped up at Kanye West's infamous interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
