On Sunday Carly Rae Jepsen hit a camera when she threw the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays home game. The "Call Me Maybe" singer embarrassingly missed home plate and sent the baseball soaring towards a photographer's camera on the side of the field.

As the 27-year old singer realized she aimed horribly wrong and hit the man's equipment she covered her face and let out a laugh and proceeded to throw her hands in the air.

The photographer was uninjured however there is no report as to how his camera is doing. Jepsen was quickly forgiven and even received sympathy from the crowd and the pitcher who she was supposed to throw the ball to.

Despite her mishap Jepsen showed that she had a sense of humor, following the game the "This Kiss" took to her Instagram account to post photos of her embarrassing TV moment.

She uploaded a collage of her pitch with a before and after montage of the moment according to the Daily Mail.  

The caption that accompanied the photo read, "A before and after. Me taking the mound. Me knocking the camera out of the photographers hands with the baseball. And me getting a sympathy hug from the catcher. Omg."

According to the announcer in the YouTube video below the pitch was a let down seeing as Jepsen was hitting strike after strike during her warm up.

Although she basically choked on the mound the day before the singer expressed her excitement about attending the game and throwing the first pitch.

The Daily Mail reported that she tweeted an image of her name stitched over an official Rays uniform with the caption, "This girl is throwing the first pitch!"

The singer did manage to see the silver lining, although she threw a first pitch that soon may be deemed infamous she tweeted, "Met a lot of lovelies at this game today! Go Rays!"
