On Friday Kate Middleton left London's Kensington Palace and made her way to her parents' Berkshire estate ahead of the royal birth.

The Duchess of Cambridge reportedly left the palace in order to avoid scorching temperatures. According to Christian Post, Saturday marked England's highest temperature of 2013 at 89.4 degrees.

Us Weekly reported that the royal went to her parents' Michael and Carole's Bucklebury home to be in more comfortable temperatures. Many suspected she gave birth seeing as she was due on July 11th but it seems she simply wanted to spend sometime with her mom and dad.

A source confirmed to Us Weekly that the Duchess did in fact leave her Kensington home, "It was just too warm in Nott Cott."

The insider continued to explain that the couple's home lacks air conditioning, "She decided to spend the weekend with mum and dad. Much more comfortable."

Over at her parents' $7 million estate Kate has the luxury of enjoying a swimming pool, barbeque patio, large living area, multiple bedrooms, and numerous rooms she can cool off in.

Middleton is expected to ditch the royal tradition of moving into a standard royal residency and hiring a maternity nurse after giving birth to her and Prince William's baby and instead move into her parents' home for at least six weeks.

Christian Post reported that a source said, "Kate says she 'just feels safest and most secure with her family and believes that no one could be better placed to teach her about bringing up a baby than her mother, who has three children of her own.'"

Her parents' estate is reportedly in the process of renovations in order to accommodate the new baby that will be taking residency in the home.

When she does deliver the third heir to the throne it will be a natural birth in the Lindo wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington.
