Vin Diesel could be on his way to becoming a Marvel superhero in "The Avengers 2."
On Tuesday, "Fast & Furious 6" star shared news of a great meeting with the comic book giant on Facebook. "Marvel meeting today...only the people in the room can tell you what was discussed..." he wrote. The actor also included a P.S. message, thanking fans for "pushing to make [something] happen," which could indicate that Diesel is getting "diesel" in the highly-anticipated sequel arriving in theaters on May 1, 2015.
He also posted a picture of himself in front of a vintage "Avengers" poster from 1963. Whether that means that he will play a feature role remains unclear, but reports seem hopeful.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the "hot" idea is that Diesel will play or voice Thanos, the "villainous titan" who appeared post-credits in last year's "The Avengers." They also believe that he could voice Ultron, the Marvel Universe's famed rogue robot out to destroy humanity.
Whatever possible role, Diesel was very excited though he had no idea initally why Marvel wanted to meet with him. And, of course, the studios are being tight lipped about the buzzed-about meeting.
ET reported that the picture hints at a future collaboration in the works, and the timing of it is "suspicious" as Marvel's panel at Comic Con 2013 is just 10 days away. The "Marvel: Ultimate Universe" panel will feature editor-in-chief Axel Alonso and "Ulimate Comics" writers Joshua Hale Fialkov and Brian Michael Bendis talking about the Ultimate Universe at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19.

Since "The Avengers 2" has started casting and Marvel must have had something important to tell the star, Diesel could play Ant-Man, Black Panther or even Daredevil, according to Perez Hilton.
