Although it is reported that George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have split the couple may not be shouting that they are single and ready to mingle just yet.

It has been reported that despite rumors of a breakup the two are still living together. According to TMZ, the couple called time on their two year relationship due to their hectic schedules, apparently the couple has not been in the same place for months.

Keibler and Clooney spent their Fourth of July on opposite ends of the earth and the source revealed to TMZ that the constant distance caused the couple to grow apart.

However, a source told People Magazine that the stars wanted different things out of life and split amicably.

"Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that," a source close to the couple revealed.

"They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago."

The insider revealed that Clooney, 52, and Keibler, 33, will remain on good terms despite the split, "They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they'll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup]."

The couple has not been spotted together since March when Clooney was in Berlin shooting his upcoming film "Monuments Men."

On the fourth of July while Clooney was spotted with friends in Italy's Lake Cumo, Keibler was in Malibu tweeting about her good time with no mention of her actor boyfriend.
