Jennifer Love Hewitt said goodbye to the Twitterverse in a surprise move.

The pregnant "Client List" actress' relationship with the social media site is over although her profile is still up, according to E! Online. It was a bitter, bad breakup, which unfortunately will leave fans without constant updates on her evolving baby bump. Many thought the move was an impulsive one and a result of Hewitt wanting to have privacy due to her pregnancy.

But the soon-to-wed starlet, who is engaged to co-star, Brian Hallisay, has a different reason for calling it quits.

Hewitt cited the "negativity" that she experienced from users as why she said farewell. "Unfortunately with the negativity people choose to send on Twitter as well as threats to their whole well-being," she tweeted. "I'm sad to say Twitter is no longer for me. I have enjoyed all the kindness and love that came my way, as well as support. But this break is needed."

She also said, "Life should be filled with positively and holding each other up, not making threats and sending bad vibes. To those of you who make it a joy, Thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Twitter is known as a stomping ground for rants and irate spats including ones from other famous starlets from Rihanna to Amanda Bynes. And now, her 602,936 followers will have to do without her.

If she will ever rejoin Twitter is unclear.
