Negative and angry reactions are piling up for UK's Daily Mail writer, Liz Jones, who wrote a very controversial and irresponsible article referring to Rihanna as "Pop's poisonous princess" who "invites rape and disrespect" with her revealing clothing on Monday.

Jones talked about the singer as if she were a major disappointment to young girls and parents everywhere, condemning her for wearing racy outfits, being hypersexualized, getting back together with "abusive" Chris Brown and smoking marijuana in recent photos that she released on Instagram.

"I don't care if she has the voice of an angel and is self-made, feisty and confident," she wrote. "All these qualities pale in comparison when we know she went back to her abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to assaulting her in 2009; that she promotes drugs and drinking and the sort of fashion sense on stage that surely invites rape at best, disrespect at least."

She continued, "I wish she'd stop infecting our high streets with her gun tattoos, her false nails and fake hair, her bonus bad-a** shenanigans that try to portray her as 'real,' as 'street,' as her own person, as strong and single-minded."

Jones even said it was fair to "berate female stars for being bad" and not their male counterparts because "young women are far more impressionable than young men."

The blatantly irate and spiteful article has got many people up in arms including RiRi.

The "Stay" singer ripped her a new one and posted an "unflattering" picture of Jones on Instagram earlier this week, according to Perez Hilton.

She captioned it, "...If you sincerely want to help little girls more than their parents do, here's a toxic tip: don't be amateur with your articles, you sound bitter! What's all this about hair and nails and tattoos??...that s**t ain't clever!!! That s**t ain't journalism! That's a sad sloppy menopausal mess!!! Nobody over here acts like they're perfect! I don't pretend that I'm like you, I just live...My life! And I don't know why y'all still act surprised by any of it!! 'Role Model' is not a position or title that I have ever campaigned for, so chill wit dat!..."

News outlets even struck back and called out Jones. The writer showed that she was "racist and sexiest" in writing the piece, reported The Frisky.

"Granted, the UK's Daily Mail (a.k.a the Daily Fail) is not the place you go to read nuanced, tasteful analysis, but writing that Rihanna 'surely invites rape [and] disrespect' by wearing provocative clothes is a new low," read a statement on their site.

They continued, "Writer Liz Jones also said it's 'fair' to 'berate female stars' more than young male ones because 'young women are far more impressionable than young men.' No citation for that 'fact,' of course! Jones additionally bopped Rihanna for her 'fake hair' and 'false nails' and for trying to portray herself 'as real, as street.'"
