When it comes to your lips, the eye-catching color is coral this Summer.

But in order to really perfect your look taking it from drab to fab, you must find just the right shade of the vibrant hue to complement your skin tone, according to Refinery 29. They teamed up with Romero Jennings, director of makeup artistry at MAC Cosmetics, to scout for the perfect "look-at-me-orange" lippies for every skin color.

We want to share some of their great tips with you on tapping into coral's power.

If you have light skin with warm undertones, go for a lighter peach shade like L'Oreal Colour Rich Colour Caresse in Sunset Agora for $9.99 at Ulta. "It is important to make sure that the lipstick is not too pink, but has more orange tones than blue," Jennings said.

For light skin with cool undertones, try a "light, cool-based coral" like DuWop Private Lipstick in Coral for $22 at Beauty.com.

If your skin is medium warm, a lippie with a "coordinating warmth" is key like the yellow-toned Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Color in Palm Beach for $26 at Sephora. For medium-cool, try MAC's Lipstick in Vegas Volt for $15 at Nordstrom.

According to Jennings, "A cool pink-orange would flatter medium-cool skin, and the MAC Lipstick adds a pop of color that will get you noticed."

For dark skin with warm undertones, go the route of "orange-y shades." "This skin tone should use a true orange-based coral that will vibrate against the skin, adding dimension to any makeup." Try Lipstick Queen Endless Summer in Stoked for $22 at SpaceNK.

If you have dark skin with cool tones, find one that is a "bright red-orange" like Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color for $19 at Beauty.com.
