Nicole Scherzinger's beau, Lewis Hamilton is hinting at marriage, reportedly.

According to Cover Media, the singer's, 34, on- and off-again, Formula 1-racing boyfriend, 28,  will propose within the year. Though the couple have broken up and gotten back together several times since 2008, the twosome look solid and serious now.

"We've been together for five years, which is quite a milestone really," Hamilton said to the British newspaper, The Sun. "But hopefully in the near future. Maybe before we get to six years."

With so much speculation about if and when they will jump the broom, Hamilton's words sound promising that there will be a future wedding.

The couple spends a lot of time together despite their hectic schedules, supporting each other in their careers. When Scherzinger was taping for the UK version of  "X-Factor," Hamilton would show up on set a lot. She often travels with him when he competes in races.

"You kinda have to look at the schedules because people will put something in at any time that you have off and we're always working," Scherzinger said. "We have to be like, 'OK, this week I'm going to try to make it to this race, if I don't, I've got this performance here; what can you do?' Every minute counts, you know?"

There were rampant rumors that the twosome were engaged in 2011, when the singer's father publicly claimed that Hamilton was his future son-in-law. But she quickly shot down the talk.

Now, things look good for the couple, who recently celebrated an anniversary, according to the Inquisitr

And for the special milestone, Hamilton posted an image of Scherzinger on Instagram with the words, "The Most Beautiful Woman in the World."
