Henry Cavill is Hollywood's golden hunk of the moment, shining not only on-screen in "Man of Steel," but in his real-life leading lady's heart.

The British actor, 30, is off the market and devoted to his girlfriend, Gina Carano, 31. Staying together in Tinseltown with its changing line-ups of couples takes work and love, but the duo almost make it look effortless, according to US Weekly.

After their "instant" attraction and chemistry, the pair "got a good thing going" because the two found similar spirits in each other, noted a source.

"Gina is a complete firecracker," the source said of the "Fast & Furious 6" actress, who has been dating Cavill since last Fall. "And she's finally found someone who can handle her."

The fascinating couple, who went public at this year's Critics Choice Awards recently, spend a lot of time together. They love to hang out close to their home in Manhattan Beach, Calif., according to the Los Angeles Times

"I'm not much of a schmoozer...not much of an event-goer," Cavill said to Details magazine. "I'd rather stay close to here. [Manhattan Beach] doesn't feel like L.A. It doesn't feel like work."

The Englishman said that his stunt woman girlfriend is "amazing" and she can put up one heck of a fight as a retired mixed martial arts athlete. She favors the Muay Thai style of fighting and even played a stunt pro, "Crush" on the reboot of "American Gladiators" in 2008.

She left the MMA world for a budding film career, kicking butt in 2011's "Haywire" before landing the role of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's trusty partner, Ricky Hicks in the 6th installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise.

"I had to take everything I was taught and reverse it," she said recently to the LA Times. "In training in mixed martial arts, you are taught to keep all of your emotions inside and then just exude it through your power. With acting, you bring all your emotions to the outside and pull back your power. It's kind of like opposite day."

She has worked with some other hunky actors like Channing Tatum and Michael Fassbender, but, of course, Cavill is her leading man off-screen.
