With season 6 of "True Blood" just one day away fans are getting anxious awaiting its debut. Luckily for you we have some juicy spoilers exclusively from the cast members.

"The tone is pretty dark this season," said Rutina Wesley, who plays Tara, a human who became a vampire last season, according to CNN.

"I think the ads that they're putting out right now say it best: No one is safe this season. There's definitely a war going on. The vampires have to fight that war, (and) the humans have to fight that war -- so it's like survival of the fittest."

Like most seasons new characters will be introduced, that is not to say this will bring peace. CNN reported that a conflict is brewing against the vampires and possibly even the werewolves and shape-shifters.

Two new faces that we will see will be Arliss, who plays the Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell that leads the crusade against the supernatural and also Jurnee Smollett-Bell who will play Nicole, a pro-vampire activist.

"We always have these amazing new characters played by unbelievable actors," Kristen Bauer van Straten , who plays a vampire named Pam said, "We have guest stars like Rutger Hauer. That, for us, is really lovely.

"I just remember being in scenes with Denis O'Hare (in past seasons) and thinking, 'This must be what it's like to play tennis with (Roger) Federer.' You just rise to the occasion.

You just want to bring your best game when you're with someone like Rutger Hauer."

According to CNN, although Sookie Stackhouse has "exhausted her obsession with vampires Bill and Eric Northman," she is not completely done with the supernatural just yes.

In season 6 she will meet a new love interest played by Rob Kazinsky, who may just be supernatural.

However Alcide is not done with Sookie just yet. Joe Manganiello who plays the character said that Alcide is learning that the benefits of become a packmaster include his choice of women.

But that does not mean his soft spot for Sookie has vanished, the actor said, "It was about to go down, and she threw up on his shoes, so I think there's a lot left on the table still."

"They haven't even gone there yet, come on! I think the door is definitely still open."
