Lauren Conrad reveals some interesting things about her life in the July issue of Marie Claire, hitting newsstands on June 18.

The 27-year-old petite business woman plays the perfect sun-kissed cover girl in a polka dot- and yellow hybrid- beach top. Open up the pages, she dished about how she morphed from a reality TV star to a mini-mogul.

For those thinking that she wants to go back to cameras following her every move and those late-night parties, the former "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" star said the opposite, according to USA Today.

"[Cable TV Shows and the Club Life feel] done for me," she said. "I'm OK with it being done...I destroyed my voice when I moved to L.A. There are polyps all over my vocal cords because I was in a lot of loud places."

The fashionista, who has her own LC Lauren Conrad clothing and bedding line with Kohl's, added that if someone "listens to the first episode of Laguna [Beach,] her voice is completely different."

Whatever negativity surrounds her over the decision to change her life and grow up, Confrad, who also writes New York Times best-selling novels, is not sweating it.

"There is always going to be a little bit of ... negativity, which just comes with the territory," she said. "You realize it doesn't matter. It's so simple, but it's a very hard lesson to learn. At the end of the day, it doesn't really affect you in any way."

Conrad has revealed her many hidden depths in writing about her story, which she felt was untold to an extent, reported the Los Angeles Times

"I only ever got to tell half my story," she added. "People are very quick to judge these days, especially behind the anonymity of a screen name. It's very easy to say, 'I hate her, I hate what she wore, she seems mean.' But you're only seeing a small fraction of her life."

Of course, she spilled on her love life with former rocker beau, William Tell.

"He is very good for me because we have a lot in common as far as where we grew up," she said. "It's the first time that I'm with someone and I'm not explaining things." She added that her man also has entertainment industry experience so he understands a lot of her daily grind and what it means to be in the spotlight.
