Although the wedding went by quietly the party-loving socialite was seen celebrating her newlywed status with new husband Jay Rutland at a post-wedding beach party on Wednesday.

The couple married at the Grand Hotel Saint Jean Cap Ferrat in front of 150 guests which included celebrity names such as Jason Statham, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sean Connery, and Elton John

The new bride looked happy as she mingled with guests. She was later seen sharing romantic moments with her new husband in the midst of diving into the French Riviera and climbing over rails, all in the name of a good time.

However the bride did look beautiful in a stunning, floaty cream long-sleeved minidress as she cuddled up to her new spouse in the sunshine, according to the Daily Mail.

The couples seemed to enjoy themselves as their guest followed the all white dress code.

According to MSN the four day wedding celebration is rumored to have cost $5.4 million. Ecclestone is believed to have hired Elton John to sing on her big day, while Lionel Richie, Calvin Harris and Mark Ronson are also said to be among the performers.

Previously the socialite talked about what her dream wedding would consist of, "Petra's wedding was the best I've ever been to. I'd like to have one abroad like hers.

"I wouldn't know what to do to make it as glamorous! It'll have to be really bling. My dream is to have Lionel Richie - and All Night Long as the first song. I'm so corny."

Corny or not the heiress had a luxurious wedding and has nothing but martial bliss to look forward to.
