Despite the fickle weather, stars still shined bright as Stella McCartney debuted her 2014 Resort designs at a garden party in New York City on Monday.

The famed designer shielded her A-list guests under a makeshift tent, with an army of umbrella-wearing men encouraging everyone from Madonna to Cameron Diaz to get a drink, according to Vanity Fair. Once the attendees had good spots and eyes on the designs, the casual staging highlighted McCartney's "surpremely wearable" fashions and accessories with a satorical appeal.

Noami Watts had grabby hands when it came to the attractive pieces. "[The clothes are] always fun and they're always on edge," said the actress, who rocked a jumpsuit by the favorite designer. "But not over the top. You feel like you are making a statement."

Kate Bosworth arrived on the arm of fiancee, Michael Polish before giving her kudos to the popular fashion visionary. "I think Stella, as a person, is just magical," she said, prior to making a bold declaration of wearing McCartney's sharp-shouldered blazer everyday.

Liv Tyler, accompanied by her rock star dad, Steven, came to gush over the fabulous clothes, looking like a smitten kitten. Tyler, who sported a crochet-knit poncho and color-blocked nail art, is a longtime friend of the designer of that hour, McCartney. But her father stole the show with his reason for coming to the swanky event.

"I always wake up in the morning and do whatever my Rice Krispies tell me to do," he joked. "But I thought I would switch tonight to Twizzlers...[And] they said, 'Stella McCartney, Stella McCartney.'"

But the quote and praise of the night came from Amy Poehler, who dropped this gem, "I just, like most people, wish [Stella] was my wife."
