Reportedly, Kate Upton is off the market and dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy of "Dancing With the Stars."

According to US Weekly, the Sports Ilustrated model, who just turned 21 on Monday, may have made the most of the milestone with Chmerkovskiy, 33. The alleged relationship has just started to blossum.

"It's very new," a source told the magazine about the supposedly new lovebirds getting together. "They were setup through friends. They just started dating."

But reps for both stars refuse to comment. And a source close to Upton said the two are not an item, but they have known each other for a long time and are just good friends.

The 5' 10" blonde stunner did cozy up to the dance pro, who previously was engaged to fellow dancer Karina Smirnoff, on her birthday at Scalinatella in New York City's Upper East Side. "They were very canoodly," an eyewitness told US. "It was a very intimate meal."

The twosome even reportedly arrived late together and held hands at the dinner table. But is that enough to say that they are an official item?

Whenever their status, Upton is hard at work in making her first real entrance into acting. The model, famous for her blue eyes and killer curves, is currently shooting "The Other Woman" with Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.

The movie's plot? Well, "after realizing she is not her boyfriend's primary lover, a woman teams up with his wife and plots mutual revenge," according to IMDB.

The film is scheduled for an April 2014 release.
