Many people are speculating that Alexander Skarsgard and Ellen Page are more than friends after a new recent intimate photo of the twosome surfaced on Twitter.
"The East" co-stars are cuddled up in a bubble of bliss and happiness, indicating they are really great actors or really in love in the photo. According to the Huffington Post, the pair, who some already say have been an item for a year, have yet to confirm or deny a romance.
Instead, they are being very private and tight-lipped.
But maybe a picture says it all. They certainly seem to have a lovey-dovey glow around them in the snapshot, which their latest movie's director, Zal Batmangli tweeted on Saturday.
This reminds me of shooting. When we'd lie in the grass listening to Toby practice Rostam's piano piece. #TheEast twitter.com/z_al/status/34...

Page did reply to the post, "Canadian tuxedo party."
Of course, the two have been spending a lot of time together during shooting and promotion. It was reported that Skarsgard even carried Page's luggage after arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles recently.
But she likes to keep her personal life to herself. "Well, I want to be very private," she said in a recent interview. "And because it's for the work. I mean, your job is to create an illusion, you know?"
And even if Page is not reacting to the speculation, "True Blood" fans are getting mad and reportedly flew into a rage over the new couple rumors.
But People reported that a source told them that the two are just friends, and the cozy-looking photo is deceiving. They said Page re-tweeted the photo with the aforementioned caption, which referred to the co-stars wearing denim-on-denim outfits in the photo.
It is not clear how long ago that the snapshot was taken or who took it, but it has gotten people talking about them and the upcoming indie thriller.
"The East," which has already shown at several film festivals, is in limited release in the U.S. currently. It centers around Sarah, an operative from a private intelligence firm played by Brit Marling, according to IMDB. She tries to infiltrate an anarchist group known for exacting revenge and counter attacks on major corporations.
