It is rumored that country stars Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood can't stand one another so what better way to acknowledge the rivalry than to decide who looked best at Wednesday's Country Music Television Awards ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee.

Now throughout the award show we know that these two stars went through various wardrobe changes but we want to focus on their red carpet look and try to figure out who was hot and who was not.

The "22" singer stepped on the red carpet of the CMT Music Awards wearing a vanilla strapless silk embroidered dress with an uneven hemline from Elie Saab's Spring/Summer 2013 ready-to-wear collection, according to Hollywood Life.

The uneven length allowed the country cutie to showoff her long, toned legs in the strapless ensemble. She displayed her slender frame by pulling her hair back into a romantic updo to keep the focus on the delicate detailing and sequins of the dress.

Swift wore a pair of peep-toe Jimmy Choo booties that matched her dress and Neil Lane jewelry, however her red manicure added some edgy glam to the warm hues the singer chose for the night.

The star aligned her eyes with a dramatic, dark winged eye and could have given her look even more edge by sticking to her signature red lipstick but on the CMT Music Awards red carpet she opted for a soft pink pout.

According to RCFA, for her red carpet look Carrie Underwood chose to wear a Editions by Georges Chakra Spring 2013 which consisted of an aqua short suit featuring a geometric pattern and tulle inserts. The shorts allowed Underwood to display her awesome legs as she wore her blonde hair in loose pageant-like curls with soft pink lipgloss.

However, her pewter Jimmy Choo 'Vibe' metallic peep-toes clashed with her outfit. We think she should have paired it with white peep-toes which would have matched her white crystallized Swarovski "Power" clutch and David Yurman jewelry.
