Following their break up Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been head lining news. We all know that the pair is a shy couple which may explain why Pattinson is fleeing to Canada to escape all of the attention.

It looks like Pattinson is heading off to Montreal to escape all the Kristen Stewart break up madness. Following his break up from "Twilight" girlfriend Kristen Stewart the paparazzi has been hounding the camera shy celebrity.

Rumor has it the actor will be seeking refugee in Canada as he makes his way to the set of the upcoming film "Maps to the Stars."

According to Entertainment Wise the star will be relocating to Toronto, Canada to shoot his movie throughout July and August.

Pattinson will star alongside John Cusack, Mia Wasikowska and Julianne Moore.

The synopsis of the film is as follows," Led by the loathsome yet funny and touching child-star Benjie, we witness the convoluted world of shallow, selfish celebrities and their minions, all of whom are about to be manipulated and destroyed by the young woman who literally represents the fruit of their twisted machinations, Agatha, Benjie's tormented, apparently psychotic sister."

It goes on to say, "As much as it is a sharp, comic look at a vacant and corrupt world, Maps to the Stars is also a haunting ghost story."

Entertainment Wise report that insiders revealed that Pattinson's mother was the reason behind the split.

There were many problems that plagued the couple but the added stress of his mother's negative opinions of Stewart eventually cause the couple to end their relationship.

The insiders said that his mother is to blame, "[Clare] seemed very unhappy that he and Kristen got back together. She was incredibly shocked by those pictures of Kristen with Rupert and couldn't understand why anyone would want to cheat on her son."

The source went on to say, "To begin with, it was like Clare didn't want to lay eyes on Kristen again, but of course she and Rob reunited and that was difficult for her."
