Some of today's brightest stars got their start in high school including Jessica Simpson, who is the star of a recently unearthed musical video.

Celebrating "Throwback Thursday," the 32-year-old blonde singer posted a tweet featuring a video clip of her as an adolescent belting at a song in what looks a school auditorium, according to Yahoo OMG!

Back in her high school days, someone filmed the now "Fashion Star" mentor performing the lead role of "Cassie" in the production of "A Chorus Line." She sported her blonde locks, skintight black bottoms and powerhouse pipes while singing her heart out to "The Music and the Mirror."

The expecting mom also "high kicks, sashays and leaps into splits" onstage.

It seems as if not many things have changed since the video except for the age and mom thing, of course.
