Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart fell in love while filming the "Twilight" franchise, however rumors suggest that the end of the franchise sparked the downfall of the couple's relationship which eventually fizzled out.

Although Stewart's affair with married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director did contribute to the split a source said that the actors were bound to break up.

Entertainment Wise reported that couple's romance came to a "natural end" when they stopped making the movies that launched them into fame.

"They don't have a Twilight movie to return to; when they had those movies they fell back into why they fell in love in the first place," the sourced said.

"It just felt right that they were a couple during the filming of those films."

The actors became an item while filming the second movie "New Moon" and were a couple for the rest of the five movies. When Stewart first entered the franchise she was dating actor Michael Angarano but the relationship soon ended after Stewart met Pattinson.

The insider claimed the vampire franchise helped Robsten keep their romance going.

"Imagine being on The Bachelor and not looking for love. When Kristen and Rob were filming the Twilight series, this was where they fell in love," the source claimed.

"It was like going back to a honeymoon or renewing their vows. They don't have that now, so add that with the other stuff, and you can see why their relationship has strained."

Although neither party has publicly confirmed the breakup Kristen Stewart was spotted on Monday seeming to be in a great mood as she stepped out with a friend in her Los Feliz neighborhood.

Stewart sported her signature skinny jeans, sneakers, a hoodie, and a baseball cap with dark sunglasses. Us Weekly reported that the star has been spending a lot of time with her friends since her break up.
