Zach Galifianakis showed up to the French premiere of "The Hangover Part III" minus his beard, sporting a goatee. The actor debuted his new, clean, shaven look, appearing barely recognizable without his trademark scruffy, full beard.

While debuting his new appearance which consisted of trimmed hair, a moustache, and a trained tuft under his chin, the actor wore a three-piece gray suit, paired with a pink shirt, and a maroon tie, according to Us Weekly.

This is not the first time that Galifianakis has been without his famous beard, UPI reported that the actor got rid of it back in 2010 when he shaved it during the musical guest break for an Saturday Night Live skit and parted ways with it once again in 2011when he shaved his head for a mohawk skit.

Earlier this month Galifianakis, who debuted a slimmer frame told Conan O'Brien that he gave up drinking all together because it has gotten him into a lot of trouble, according to Us Weekly.

The actor told the host a story of the time he decided to take a long walk home while out in New York City, "I'd gotten into the whiskey that night, and was listening to my headphones."

As the actor explained that as he crossed Ludlow Street in lower Manhattan, "this guy in a Jaguar cut me off."

The intoxicated actor grew annoyed and decided to retaliate, "As he cut me off, I hit the car as hard as i could with my hand."

Seconds later, Galifianakis got a tap on the shoulder. "I turn around, it's two huge 6-foot-6 guys [from the Jaguar

"They both, at the same time, spit in my face!"
"I don't know if you've ever been spit in the face non-sexually," he joked to O'Brien.

"But all I remember is being so stunned."

As the men walked away, "I remember reaching into a trash can and grabbing a beer bottle and saying out loud, 'Nobody spits in Galifianakis' face!'"

He threw the bottle at the car but the actor said, "It missed!"
