Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams have come together for a Destiny's Child Reunion in order to perform a song featured on Rowland's upcoming album, "Talk a Good Game." The ladies come together to harmonize on the newly released track "You've Changed."
Us Weekly reported that the trio comes together for the R&B ballad in which each former Destiny's Child member gets a turn at a solo, but the song is far from the upbeat Superbowl performance that reunited the women earlier this year.
The group broke up back in 2006 and it recently became public that Kelly Rowland struggled wither life following the disbanding of the group and had a hard time dealing with it. She told the story of her difficult time in the song "Dirty Laundry."
In the song Rowland was very open about her jealously towards fellow Destiny's Child member Beyoncé's solo success. She also talked about being in an abusive relationship with a man who turned her against everyone she loved including Beyoncé, who Rowland considers a "sister."
During a concert in Washington on May 26th Rowland broke down in tears when she performed "Dirty Laundry."
She told the audience, "Doing this song for me was so therapeutic."
She continued to say, "Honesty, like my mama always says, is always the best policy."
According to the Huffington Post, the singer performed the song on a stool and after she sung, "He turned me against my sister. I missed ya," she bent over, placed her head in her lap and broke down and cried a bit. This continued for about 25 seconds as the crowd chanted her name.
With encouragement from the crown Rowland finished her song and wiped away her tears. The singer stood in front of the crowd and said, "I am so grateful to God that I have my girls to back me up," referring to the other members of Destiny's Child.
