In an industry where makeup is a highly-used necessity, Gisele Bundchen went against the grain and went natural for her latest ad campaign with BLK DNM.

The leggy and stunning supermodel, 32, told a fashion blog, Fashionista that she hit if off with the brand's designer, Johan Lindeberg because of his belief in going minimal and skipping retouching and Photoshop. She agreed to those terms while shooting for the line.

"I came in and I met him and I said, 'This guy, he's a real, nice person,'" Bundchen said. "I want to do something with him."

Lindeberg responded that they would do the shoot without the over-glamourous hair and makeup for a "real" look at the Brazillian bombshell, who embraced the "au naturel" idea.

"I loved his approach because I feel like women should be really real and raw, and it doesn't really happen anymore [in fashion photographs,]" said the magazine cover girl, who is married to NFL star Tom Brady. "I love that feeling of, you know, we are women, we are so different, our imperfections is what make us unique and beautiful."
