We all remember Miguel's 2013 Billboard Music Awards performance in which he decided to jump over a pit full of fans during his "Adorn" performance and landed on a woman's head.

There have been numerous meme's posted throughout the social media sites mocking the singer and the way he landed on the woman. It seems like Miguel who is both African-American and Mexican grew tired of the teasing and took his Twitter account to express his anguish.

According to the Huffington Post, the singer warns in his bio, "Don't follow Me, I'm trouble." And he sure proved his more than 500,000 followers right when he went on a controversial Twitter rant.

Miguel began his rant by first posting, "Im proud of my heritage but honestly, black people are the most judgmental people in the world. Sh*** sad man."

He went on to tweet, "we've been conditioned, pre-programmed to hate ourselves."

The shocking tweets did not stop there, the artist continued to point out the flaws of part of his heritage.

He tweeted, "that's why I appreciate those who choose to think and act for themselves regardless of ethnicity or culture."

"The problem can not be fixed until the problem is recognized. Not everyone is the same thank goodness. And obviously, I love all my fans."

"Of course EVERYONE is judgemental. I just PERSONALLY believe WE are the most critical of our own."

The Urban Daily reported that a tweet by a fan who accused the singer of selling his sold set Miguel off on his Twitter rant.

He fan said, "@MiguelUnlimited The real know you've already sold your soul, you proved it in your prayer "Use Me" clearly wasn't to God! Can't fool us all."

The singer responded with a tweet that has since been deleted by telling the fan "dude, dont be an idiot, there is no "prayer" in use me. take that over zealous self-righteousness elsewhere."

The rant caused an uproar of mixed emotions from the singer's followers.
