It continued to be a busy week for Eva Longoria, who earned a master's degree in Chicano Studies on Wednesday.

According to TMZ, the former "Desperate Housewives" actress, 38, is backed up her beauty with brains, having brought home a degree from Cal State Northridge, where she sat in classes for three years. That's right, the degree was not honorary.

A rep for Longoria, who had a recent wardrobe malfunction at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, tells the celeb news site that she began the program while filming the hit ABC series, finding time to do homework on set. Her thesis?

It was "Success STEMS From Diversity: The Values of Latinas in STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering and Math] Careers."

The Latina beauty also tweeted her excitement.

And then she went out to dinner with her parents like every normal graduate.
