Kate Middleton shined like the sun at Queen's Elizabeth annual summer garden party in a bright patterned coat dress on Wednesday.

The mom-to-be, 31, donned lemon-yellow Emilia Wickstead outerwear, according to US Magazine. The coat dress caressed her growing baby bump, standing out amongst the crowd.

One onlooker said, "She carried her bump elegantly."

She paired the dress with a Jane Corbett hat, according to the Huffington Post.  Her towering headgear was decorative, featuring several bows on top.

The Dutchess of Cambridge, who has been taking cooking lessons and reading parenting books, wore a beaming smile and mingled with several of the 8,000 guests including Olympians.

They downed 20,000 slices of cake and 270,000 cups of "Buckingham Palace Garden Party Tea."
