The long anticipation of Fox's "The Wolverine" film is finally eased as the newest trailer for the film has arrived. The trailer for the 3-D film directed by James Mangold, starring Hugh Jackman, will begin to be shown this weekend attached to "The Fast and Furious 6," according to Deadline.

But if you are not heading to the movie theater this weekend to catch it we have the trailer right here for you.

The trailer begins in what may seem to be an alternate universe in which Jean Grey is alive and in Logan's (Wolverine) bed. The X-Men is awaken by her voice when she repeatedly says wake up. When he realizes that the love of his life is the one who is waking him up he becomes overwhelmed with emotion, he tells her that he is sorry and vows that he will never hurt her ever again.

She then whispers to him, "it's too late." He begins to scream and we seem him awake on the ground. A voiceover says she has been looking for the wolverine for over a year followed by Logan's response in which he says that is not who he is anymore.

We find that the woman in this voice over has been searching for Wolverine for her boss who wants to thank him for saving his life many years ago. To show his gratitude the employer offers to change Wolverine back into a regular human.

However, the mutant is skeptical because he believes that what has happened to him cannot be undone, but the employer insists he should not be so sure about that. We soon see Wolverine get shot however unlike the other injuries that mutant looks like he is in a great deal of pain. Did he take the offer?

After a couple of flashes of fighting scenes we hear the employer's voiceover in which he says, "Eternity can be a curse. A man can run out of things to live for."

To which Wolverine responds to and says, "That day ain't here yet."

"The Wolverine" film is set to hit theaters this summer on July 26th. Will you be buying your tickets early?
