These days Jennifer Lawrence is pretty blue, the Academy Award winning actress is returning to her "X-Men" roots. Lawrence has reprised her role as Raven Darkholme/Mystique in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

The director of the film Bryan Singer tweeted a picture from the Montreal set of the actress on Monday in full blue body makeup and yellow contact lenses, "First look: #JenniferLawrence as a vengeful #Mystique. #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast."

Previously the actress told E! News tha while filming the 2011 film "X-Men: First Class," she had to be treated for skin rashes, boils, and blisters caused by the blue body paint.

This is not the first time the director has tweeted out a photo from set, he has posted pictures of Nicholas Hoult and Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, and Patrick Stewart.

According to USA Today the movie deals with time travel and the cast includes older versions of the same characters, which means we get to see some old faces that were featured in the first two "X-Men" films.

Jennifer Lawrence joins Nicholas Hoult, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore ,Patrick Stewart and Michael Fassbender just to name a few of the all-star mutant ensemble.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is set to be released July 18, 2014.
