The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating death threats made against Chris Brown. The LAPD was called after multiple threats were called into Brown's attorney, Mark Gerago's office.

According to TMZ, the caller threatened the 24-year old singer's life however the specifics of the threats have remained unclear. However Brown's attorney took the threats very seriously and immediately reported them to the LAPD. He gave them the detailed information he had on the calls to help them with the investigation.

The Daily Mail, reported that Brown's popularity has plummeted following the 2009 incident in which he brutally beat up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

According to the police report that was filed after the beating Rihanna was punched, bitten, choked, and put in a headlock by Brown. She was left bruised and bloodied by the R&B singer who later turned himself into the LAPD and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats while under investigation for domestic violence charges, according to the Daily Mail.

Mark Geragos represented Chris Brown when he was sentenced in August that year to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling, and six months of community service.

Earlier this year Geragos spoke about how proud he was of Brown, The attorney said, "He's accepted everything that's come at him.

"He's grown and matured, and as he would tell you, is still making good music."

The investigation of the death calls are still being investigated by the LAPD.
