On Thursday the boy band One Direction announced early dates for their 2014 "Where We Are" stadium world tour. The tour will kick off in South America in April of 2014, the band also gave fans an inside scoop about their third album.

According to MTV the band hinted that this new album will be different from what fans usually expect from the heartthrobs.

One Direction member Liam Payne said, "[We] had the chance to work with a lot of great writers and stuff, but we just made it a bit more edgier.

"Just subtle changes here and there so it kind so grows as we grow."

Following the release of their album the fellas will be heading off to Bogata, Colombia. The band has only released show dates for South America, Ireland, and the UK. However the band will be announcing more dates that will include shows in the United States.

Billboard reported that "tickets for the U.K. and Ireland shows go on sale on May 25, while the South American shows go on sale at various dates next month."

Niall Horan tweeted, "Keep [your] eyes [peeled]! Please don't be disappointed if your country wasnt announced! We will be announcing more over the year!"

Currently One Direction is still on their "Take Me Home" tour and is set to release their movie "This is Us" in August.
