Earlier this week rumors erupted that Jaden Christopher Syre Smith son of Hollywood actor Will Smith was going to receive the present of emancipation for his 15th birthday. However while the father-son duo were on a press tour to promote their new film "After Earth" they decided to clear up the drama.

Will and Jaden Smith sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to clear up the emancipation conspiracy. When asked if he is indeed getting emancipated from his parents, Jaden responded to DeGeneres, "Here's the thing you need to explain, I'm not going anywhere."

He told the host, "The thing that people don't get is that everything at his house is free so I can get anything and everything that I want at his house so I think [I'll be] there for 20, 30 more years."

However the young star did say that his time at his parent's house may be limited, "He [Will Smith] says as soon as I have a movie that's bigger than one of his movies then I have to get my own house."

When the talk show host asked where the emancipation rumor arose from Will Smith said, "I think I made a joke in Tokyo. My baby boy, he's never leaving me ever. No emancipation for the Smith kids."

So it looks like Jaden Smith will remain under the roof of his parents' mansion. Now the question is what will the "After Earth" actor receive for his birthday in July now that emancipation is no longer an option?
